National Park Highlight- Pinnacles- South East of San Jose
My admin and her family adventured here. There are some awesome caves to crawl through- headlamps required! The views are awesome and binoculars come in handy. Bring lots of water and keep an ear alert for rattlers. Despite the photos- the campsites were AWESOME. Let us know if you want help planning a trip!
Some years ago multiple volcanoes erupted, flowed, and slid to form what would become Pinnacles National Park. What remains is a unique landscape. Travelers journey through chaparral, oak woodlands, and canyon bottoms. Hikers enter rare talus caves and emerge to towering rock spires teeming with life: prairie and peregrine falcons, golden eagles, and the inspiring California condor.
