As a Realtor, my work is built around helping you move. But today, let's consider if perhaps you should stay. Consider your motivations and feelings vs reality. I recently saw a statistic that the majority of people decorate their homes based on trends and what other people like rather than what they like. Kind of crazy right? And yet so much of our decisions are influenced, if not based on, the thoughts of others. I believe in home ownership. I also believe some neighborhoods are more pleasant and some schools provide a higher quality education than others. I also know that great people and happy families can be found everywhere. Are you considering a move because you feel ready and called to someplace new? Or do you feel compelled to make a move to appease or impress those around you? As your realtor, I’m supposed to always say the answer is to move 🤣 However, today I want to remind you that it's ok to grow where you are, wherever that may be, until YOU feel called to move.
